Das Geheimnis um die mysteriösen Bilder der letzten Tage ist gelüftet. Und zwar vor der offiziellen Ankündigung durch LEGO® und Warner Bros. Demnach handelt es sich bei der Neuheit – wie vermutet – um LEGO® Dimensions um eine neue Spielerfahrung, in der u.a. LEGO® Minifiguren “zum Leben erweckt werden”. Als Fachbegriff für diese Gaming-Art hat sich hier Toys-to-Life etabliert. Sagt euch nichts? LEGO® Dimensions ist so eine Art Skylanders, spielt aber im LEGO® Universum.
Wie jetzt durchgesickert ist, erscheint zum Start von LEGO® Dimensions ein Starter-Pack, welches neben dem Spiel ein LEGO® Toypad samt 269 Bausteinen zum Bau des Durchgangsportals sowie ein Batmobil und die drei Minifiguren Batman, Gandalf und Wyldstyle enthält. Das Spiel ist laut Toys”R”Us USA für die PlayStation 3 und 4, Xbox 360 und Xbox One sowie für Wii U erhältlich und kostet knapp 100 US-Dollar. Derzeit kann das Starter-Pack nur vorbestellt werden. Einen Veröffentlichungstermin habe ich bislang nicht gesehen.
